The Excellence Dental Network, in partnership with The Microdentistry Institute in Florence, has long been engaged in the prevention and treatment of aggressive forms of periodontal disease. Together with Biomolecular Diagnostics Srl, they now promote the INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN TO PREVENT PERIODONTAL DISEASE. The campaign aims to raise public awareness of the importance of preventing periodontitis, and highlight in particular the correlation between this disease and a wide range of systemic diseases

BIOMOLECULAR DIAGNOSTIC is a young and dynamics company, founded in Florence in 2006, that supplies microbiological and genetic tests, single or in combination (Integrated Periodontal Test - IPT), in order to support the clinician in the diagnosis of periodontal disease and, subsequently, in the phases of treatment and follow up.
Moreover, the genetic test executed in young healthy patients is a fundamental tool of prevention, since it determines the individual risk profile to periodontal disease, especially in cases of familiarity with periodontitis.
